History
- Randolph Johnston was a professor at Smith College in Northampton MA. In the early 1950's the Canadian packed up his wife and their four children, a daughter and three sons, and sailed to the Abacos, landing at Little Harbour. They lived in the area's caves until they could build a hut. In time came the Johnston Foundry and gallery where bronze sculptures were cast using the lost wax process.
