Bahamian Music & Heritage Festival -
Thursday, Mar. 8, 2018 to Saturday, Mar. 10, 2018
The annual Bahamian Music and Heritage Festival is an exciting time for the whole family, with lots of activities for kids and adults: storytelling, singing, poetry reading, How to demonstrations, plus contests involving sugar cane peeling, onion peeling, and conch cracking. There will be a heritage corner highlighting Bahamian history; arts and crafts, such as wood and conch shell carvings, will be on sale, along with Bahamian cuisine.
A gospel explosion will launch the weekend of activities on Thursday evening, with renowned local and visiting performers. There will also be an awesome line-up of the most popular local and national gospel and secular musicians over the three days.
